USDA COMPLETES THIRD AND
FINAL LICENSE ISSUANCE
On March 7, 2007, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural
Service completed the third and final license issuance for 2007 either by
listing of licenses on the DAIRIES web page or by mailing a license printout to
the licensee. Members may have noticed that the DAIRIES list or the license
printout may include additional licenses not listed in either of the previous
two issuances due to the following reasons: (1) technical corrections that
resulted in reissuance of certain licenses for 2007; (2) canceled non-historical
licenses; and (iii) conversion of canceled historical licenses to non-
historical licenses.
Members are reminded that the license fee for 2007 is $150.00 per license.
The license fee must be paid by no later than May 1, 2007. It can be paid either
by using the DAIRIES secured link to the U.S. Treasury or by check made payable
to the order of the Treasurer of the United States, postmarked not later than
the May 1st deadline, addressed to the Dairy Import Licensing Group at the
following address:
Dairy Import Licensing Group STOP 1021 ROOM 5531-S 14 Independence
Avenue, S.W. Washington, DC 20250-1021
Failure to submit payment of the license fee by May 1, 2007, may result in your
firm’s licenses being placed on hold, or being revoked. Any questions which you
may have regarding the third and final 2007 license issuance or payment of the
license fee should be directed to either Bettyann Gonzales at (202) 720-1344 or
Jorge Martinez at (202) 720-9439.
